Who is Debra Skodack?

by Eliza Ferree

Someone dropped me an email asking who Debra Skodack of Kansas City is? I thought I knew the name and looked it up, sure enough it’s columnist for The Kansas City Star. It seems to be a daily column and not a weekly, so if you like her writing you can tune into KansasCity.com every day.

Her most recent article is “Extraordinary outpouring’ for baby with Rare Condition.” Which is a very sad story about a little baby that needs our help. 7-month-old Granton Bayless has a rare condition and needs a bone-marrow. So far 1,792 people came to see if their marrow would match up. If you’d like to take part the Bone Marrow Program is waiving the $52 fee to encourage more to do this.
