Weather Reports for Kansas City
Let’s chat about the weather. What is it like in your neck of the woods? Currently in Kansas City, KS the weather reports it is icy and freezing with temperatures of 42. Brrr! Just a little further in Kansas City, MO you’ve got the same type of weather and temperature.
Me- I’m a little further southeast, the temp is at 48 (still cold to me) but it is currently snowing outside, yes snowing. Here I thought it wasn’t going to snow anymore and it comes down in swift kicks and slow motion. I’ve never seen weather like this, I’m use to the hot sun burning your skin or listening to the beach splash up against the shore.
However, today, as I sit beside my window and look out at my back porch I’m amuse by a play that is going on in front of me. Have you ever seen the snow dance? Chances are if you’ve lived out here you have, however you may not have actually noticed.
This is when the wind decides to blow and it catches up with lady winter and together they dance and the snowflakes swirl up into the sky and float back down to the ground. This continues on and on until one finally decides to leave. Right now though the dance is swift and I’m afraid I’d never keep that pace. My porch, it has a few flakes on them, but the air is crisp and full of white dots.
