Lees Summit Bank Robbed

by

The Lees Summit Blue Ridge Bank was robbed around 11 a.m. this morning by a man that has yet to be stopped. The man apparently came in and held up the tellers at gun point. On him was a black handgun and he left in a black Hyundai heading west on US 50.

If you see this suspect or hear of someone that stole money from the bank contact the TIPS hotline. Do not approach him as he is considered armed and dangerous. Thankfully no one was hurt during the robbery.

The robbery took place at the Blue Ridge Bank of 1812 NW Chipman Rd in Lees Summit. The vehicle he is using has already been reported stolen so he may try to steal another.
