Kansas City’s Extreme Makeover
Seems our busy town has been more busy than we all thought, Kansas City will appear on Extreme Makeover this Sunday. As ya’ll probably already know, whenever Ty Pennington visits a home he ends up leaving the family with one much better. Of course that isn’t all he does, he makes sure the person deserves it and is ready to make his viewers cry.
Ty has done that very thing once again, back in November (2007) he visited Daniel Gilyeat and his four children. Daniel isn’t just a typical guy either, he’s an injured Marine. In 2005, he was serving some time in Iraq when his vehicle was hit….he lost his leg. Many got together and told Ty all about this wonderful marine that dedicated his life to the Marine Corps and his kids.
As Ty arrived at the house, Daniel and his two boys and two girls left in a limo. I know those kids were excited about that, that had to be the ride of their life. However, the next step was to tear the entire house down, which happened to be a two bedroom bungalow. Yes, I think they deserved something bigger and better, especially with four children.
