Kansas City Schools = Low Graduation

by

The America’s Promise Alliance announced that Kansas City Schools have a 50% drop out rate before graduation. Only half of those that start out will graduate by the end of the school year. What is causing this? Officials believe it could be just because of the conditions of their school, that teachers come and go, the superintendant has changed 25 different times. Why would this encourage kids to stay in school when even the staff leaves?

This makes Kansas City School district actually under the national average of 70%. How can we change this? What’s your opinion?
