Kansas City License Laws
While a person may be able to get a Kansas driver’s License between the ages of 16-76 years of age. They’ll now have to pay an additional $4 to purchase their card, instead of the original $22. In years prior a teen of 14 was able to get a learners driver’s permit and a restricted permit at 15, the laws have kept the ages the same. But they have added the following:
Under age 17 cannot be driving between midnight and 5 a.m.
Under age 17 can only drive 3 passengers, no more.
No talking on a cell phone with a learner’s permit or restrictive permit.
Rumor had it they were going to move the age up on driver’s license, I haven’t been able to find anything on this. If you know of something please let me know.
