Are you looking to have fun over the weekend? Been stuck indoors with or without kids? This weekend there are a ton of fun things to do in the Kansas City area. You’ve got plays like ComedyCity, A Gathering of Gangsters to Smuckers stars on ice. There’s always something in the area for everyone, the only problem is finding it. Listed below are just a few things for everyone, including the kids.

Kansas City Ballet is going to have Donald McKaye’s “Hey-Hay Going to Kansas City. This will be at the Lyric Theatre in Kansas City, get tickets from www.kcballet.org or call 816-931-2232. Tickets around $30-60 and at 7:30 p.m.

12th Annual Kansas Silent Film Festival at White Concert Hall at Washburn University in Topeka, KS. This will begin at 7 p.m. tonight. with the first show being “A Harem Knight,” “Only Me” and “The Kid Brother”. Have fun ya’ll!

This will be your last weekend to watch “Stories My Grandmother Told Me.” Tickets can be bought through ahtkc.com or call 816-842-9999.

Looking for a bit of real theater action? Maybe a play or two? The Wolfman-Or-Another Bad Hair Day! will be at the Martin City Melodrama & Vauldeville Company, Metcalf South Shopping Center in Overland Park.

Nine will also be performing at Barn Players Theater at 7:30 p.m. in Mission.
