Katherine Cook

This 5 year old little girl named Katherine Cook was playing in her own backyard (Linwood) with her two brothers when a pop was heard and little Katherine fell to the ground. The boys ran to her, seeing blood they ran to get their dad. She’d been shot, but so far no one knows who shot her.

Katherine Cook was shot in the head and is currently in a coma. Due to where the bullet is the doctors are not removing it, in fear that it could be dangerous to her life.

Do you know something that could help find her shooter? The Cook Family lives at 12480 170th St in the Linwood area. If you know anything please call the Linwood Sheriff’s office at 913) 758-4082.
